Xbox 360 Game Review
If you have children you are most likely aware of the video gaming craze that has been sweeping the nation in recent years. Although video games have been around for decades, video games are still one of the hottest toys around for those young and old alike.
Over the years, these gaming systems have evolved from oversized arcade pinball machines to joystick controlled systems, to what we now consider the norm today: computerized systems. One gaming system that has grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the Xbox 360.
Xbox 360 is one of the most popular gaming systems available on the market today. Its no wonder too, these interactive games are designed with the player in mind, so much in fact that the user becomes a part of the game. The Xbox was first released late 2005 by software giant Microsoft. Since then, it’s remained a top selling system due, in part, to the superior gaming accessories and components that help improve the gaming experience for the player.
One of the most notable differences among Xbox 360 and the other gaming consoles available on the market is the Xbox Live component. Xbox Live allows gamers to purchase a monthly subscription to the Xbox 360 online world. Gamers from New York to Toledo can play together in the same game for a truly interactive experience. Gamers can also chat with fellow players around the world via the chat function. Xbox Live also gives gamers the opportunity to download content to their Xbox 360s. Your subscription also allows you to download anything from free game trials to music, television shows and movies.
The Xbox 360 comes in three different game consoles: the arcade console, the premium console and the Elite console. Each system has a distinguishing amount of memory as well as different accessories that are available for it at different price levels. If your kids are younger or are just not concerned with playing graphic intense video games or downloading content from online then the arcade version should suffice. If your kids are older and want to get the most they can from their Xbox then the Elite console is the way to go. The Xbox 360 also offers numerous accessories designed to enhance the playing experience: everything from webcams to wireless controllers.
