What Happened to my Favorite Actor, Tom Cruise?
Ever since I saw the movie Top Gun, I’ve been a huge, huge Tom Cruise fan. But, I have to say, he’s really scared me over the past year.
He went from super cool, hot actor to nutty, crazy, couch jumping guy! Apparently, I’m not the only one who feels this way. I read a Yahoo! News story reporting that Marketing Evaluations Incorporated, a company that calculates the likeability factor for celebrities, says the public’s positive perception of Cruise has fallen by 40 percent, while the negative perception has increased 100 percent. Doesn’t seem quite fair to get hit on both ends now does it?
Anyhow, the news story did a fabulous job of highlighting Cruise’s most memorable moments of the last year that led to his current popularity ratings and the end of his relationship with Paramount. It includes everything from the first sighting of Cruise and Holmes, which the story calls the “birth of TomKat,” to the engagement, pregnancy, box-office effect, etc. It’s quite a hoot, take a look.
So, the real question is: Why is Tom suddenly so quite? And, why haven’t we seen baby Suri yet?
I heard that Vanity Fair magazine might be debuting photos Suri in the Fall. But, I don’t believe the magazine has confirmed.
In the meantime, someone with a lot of time on their hands, has developed a site to help us all keep up with the Cruise clan and it’s called Where Is Suri?
All I can say is, well Tom, you started it! You were everywhere for the pass year and now the public just wants to see your kid!
