The Cure for Lunch Room Drama?
I saw an ad for a book called Where Should I Sit at Lunch? The Ultimate 24/7 Guide to Surviving the High School Years. I’m thinking this is a must-read for both parents and their preteen/teenage children. I’m hearing that at my elementary school there’s a “popular” table at lunch in the 4th grade!
Harriet S. Mosatche, a co-author of this book, is known as Dr. M on the Girl Scouts of America site and Karen Unger, is a writer, editor and former manager of program development for Girl Scouts. They have broken down the high school “experience” into 10 chapters, dealing with things such as friendships, relationship with parents, jobs, preparing for the future, etc. Check it out and let us know what you think.
