Some Good Advice
Here’s some good advice on something every home should have, a First-aid Kit. But, actually, you need a couple–one for at home and one for the car and be sure one of them goes with you when you travel.
I recently bought a couple for under $15 each at my local pharmacy, but you can easily create one on your own. The attached article provides a great list of everything your kit needs to include. Here are a few key things to remember:
- sterile gauze
- adhesive tape and bandages
- antiseptic wipes
- antibiotic cream
- acetaminophen
- tweezers

I saw first hand how helpful a handy first aid kit can be at my friend’s neighborhood pool the other day when a toddler got stung. A mom at the pool had her kit handy and several of the above mentioned items were put to use. Five minutes later, the toddler was swimming again!
