So, first of all, what’s up with Grey’s Anatomy? Are they really going to let Meredith (Grey of Grey’s Anatomy) die? And, if so, why not at the end of the season? What a huge cliff-hanger for mid season. February sweeps, I guess.
I can’t believe she’d be off the show, but I’d like to see how they pull this off. She had to have been under water for at least 10 minutes and then she never started breathing for the entire ambulance ride? I’ll be sure to tune in right at 8:00 pm CST next Thursday night! No TiVo for this!
In other TV news, I saw a story on E! News called, Studio 60 Fading to Black?, stating that next Monday NBC will be replacing Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip with The Black Donnellys, an organized crime drama. What a bummer! I really enjoyed watching Studio 60. I had no idea ratings for the show were continually dropping. As of now, no return date has been set for the program, but I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.
If you’ve never watched Studio 60, it’s a drama based on the drama that goes on behind-the-scenes at a Saturday Night Live-type comedy show. The cast includes Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford and Amanda Peet. I’m a big Matthew Perry fan and I love him in this role. So, we’ll have to see what happens.
And, finally, my favorite new show (well new for me as of a month ago) is 30 Rock. It’s so funny! It’s hard to find a really funny sitcom and I’m really enjoying 30 Rock. Tina Fey is so funny. It makes me wonder why she couldn’t bring that humor to Saturday Night Live last year. I also love Jane Krakowski, she’s hilarious on the show. And, I even am enjoying Alec Baldwin (and I’m not such a big Alec Baldwin fan).
