Night at the Museum (SharpMom Movie Review)
As promised, my review of Night at the Museum. . .
This movie wasn’t even on my radar screen to see, but my sister-in-law highly recommended it. And, I’m glad she did. I love that my kids are old enough now that we can enjoy a movie as a family that isn’t animated! Night at the Museum is rated PG and both my kids enjoyed it. Now, I’m sure some of it was over my son’s head, and I probably wouldn’t recommend it for anyone younger than him (he’s almost 4).
The cast includes Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, so as you can imagine with these two guys, it’s quite funny. Ben Stiller gets a job as the night security guard at the Museum of Natural History. He quickly discovers that this is no ordinary museum. At night everything in the museum comes to life. Everything from wild animals, prehistoric men, a t-rex skeleton and much more. It’s full of excitment and adventure!
If you have older children, I think this is one your entire family will enjoy! If you see it or have seen it, let us know what you think. Rotten Tomatoes average rating was only 5.4/10. I think that’s way too low!
