How Much Time do your Kids Spend on Homework Each Night? (Poll Results)
I’m surprised that our poll results showed that most children are spending less than 30 minutes on homework each night. Maybe we just happended to get a lot of responses from moms with younger children.
Here are the results:
- Less than 30 minutes: 55%
- 30 minutes – 1 hour: 9%
- 1-2 hours: 18%
- More than two hours: 18%
I’d say we doubled our homework time from Kindergarten to first grade, but it’s still very manageable. Let’s just hope it doesn’t continue to double each year!
