Google Your Phone Number
I understand that Google has a new feature which enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter and then you will be given the person’s name and address. You can then get a map to the person’s house via MapQuest. This could definitely be scary, especially if your child gives out their phone number to the wrong person.
Now, I checked out my number and it did not display our names and address. So, I then checked a few family members of mine and all of their information came up just as described above.
If you want to block your information, you can click on your telephone number and then click on the removal form. I understand that it takes 48 hours to remove the information.
