Prima Princessa Presents Swan Lake DVD Review

May 13, 2008

primaprincessa.jpgPrima Princessa presents Swan Lake is a fantastic introduction to classical ballet. I loved this DVD and am so happy to recommend it to all of you who have young children.

My six year old daughter adores the entire production, dancing along with the little girls. My 12 year old, on the other hand, enjoys the professional dancing sequences, but she considers it a “little kids” DVD.

It was put together by 2 stay-at-home-moms with no prior film-making experience, Stephanie Troeller and Mary Kate Mellow. Inspired by the unbridled joy of their daughters’ love of dance, they decided to create a grass-roots direct to DVD show for girls ages 3-8 years old called “Prima Princessa Presents Swan Lake”. HP Photosmart C7280 Review

March 30, 2008

HP Photosmart C7280HP designed the Photosmart C7280 as an all-in-one printer, scanner, fax and copier for home or small offices. And, with its automatic document feeder, wireless connectivity, double sided printing and scanning directly to PDF, I think they’ve done an admirable job.

I had high hopes for this all-in-one machine since our home office is very short on space. In fact, I was ready to pack up the old fax, scanner and color printer the minute it arrived by FedEx! Read more

Lamisilk Intensive Foot Therapy, Your Feet Will Thank You

July 24, 2007

Welcome to the first official Sharp Product for SharpMoms review!

I LOVE beauty products and reviewing them for you is the best part of my job. A few weeks ago, Lamisilk sent me some samples of their new foot care line to test out. And, their care package arrived just in time! My family moved at the beginning of the Summer, and by mid June I was looking at my feet and kind of panicking. I’m 20 miles from my usual nail salon and at least 10 miles from any nail salon for that matter. But, something had to be done, because I had a pool party the next day.

Lamisilk saved my day because they sent me an awesome goodie bag filled with foot care! Their new Intensive Foot Therapy line came with an exfoliating scrub, daily hydrating cream and overnight moisture seal that really worked wonders on my poor feet. I started off by soaking my feet in warm water and then I used the exfoliating scrub to cleanse and remove dead skin cells. The scrub is really nice because it has just about the right amount of exfoliators. I find that some scrubs are so gently they hardly do the job, but this one did just fine. What I loved most about the Lamisilk scrub, was the amazing fragrance. It was very soothing. Next, I used the daily hydrating cream and then later that night applied the overnight moisture seal and then wore socks to bed. I had pool party ready feet in the morning!

At home pedicures, like Lamisilk’s new line, are really handy to have around. Whether you are using them to save money (a good spa pedicure can be pricey) or to supplement in between salon visits, I’d be sure to have one in you make-up drawer, especially in the summertime. The heat, the sun and all those crazy sandals and flip flops we wear, really ruin our feet just when we are showing them off the most. I’ve continued using the Lamisilk products almost daily on my trouble spots. Dry toes don’t look too cute in strapy sandals ladies!
