Bye, Bye Star!
So, The View is down from 5 gals to 3 now that Star Jones Reynolds is gone (in addition to Meredith Vieira). Star was booted from The View on Wednesday after surprising Barbara Walters by announcing that she wouldn’t be returning to the show in the fall.
ABC had decided against renewing Reynolds’ contract months ago, but the show was planning on an announcement later in the week. Star’s surprise announcement got her wiped off the show’s opening credits immediately.
So, things might be a little quieter on The View for a few weeks, that is until Rosie O’Donnell joins in September. Stayed tuned, we’ll be covering Rosie’s first week on the show!
Now, who will Barbara hire to replace Star? I think the show needs a mom in her mid to late thirties. Maybe a SharpMom?
