Best Baby Books of all Time

Parents magazine published a list in its August issue entitled,”Our Favorite Baby Books of All Time.”

We all know how important it is to read to our children and we all know how quickly a SharpMom can memorize a board book, so I wanted to pass this list along to you. Hopefully, you’ll find a few on here that you don’t already own! Keep in mind these are all board books, so most appropriate for 0-3 year-olds. And, in case you notice right away that the “book board of all time” is missing, note that Parents mentions at the start of the article that these books are ones you’ll want to read in addition to Goodnight Moon.

  • Animals
  • Baby Beluga
  • Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do you See?
  • Daddy Kisses
  • Dear Zoo
  • Freight Train
  • I Know A Rhino
  • Let’s Play
  • Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?
  • My Car
  • The Going to Bed Book
  • The Napping House
  • Pat The Bunny
  • Where Is Baby’s Belly Button?
  • Where’s Spot?

My family owns several of these books, but not all of them. My favorite one on this list is Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? But, this got me thinking, what’s missing from this list? My vote: Snuggle Puppy. That’s one of our favorites. What else is missing? Please add your comments to this post and let all the moms know!
