What do you do for New Year’s Eve?

  • Party all night with friends!
  • Hang out with family.
  • Go on vacation.
  • Stay home.

I look forward to your results!

Children’s Birthday Parties (Poll Results)

December 26, 2006

I hope you all had a great holiday. We sure did! And, just as I thought I’d wrapped the last present and written the last card, I realized that my son’s birthday is in less than three weeks! So, I guess it’s back to shopping and envelope addressing for me!

And, that also reminds me that it’s time for our poll results.

The question was: How much would you spend on your child’s birthday party?

Here are the results:

Most of us (47%) are spending $300-$500 on parties for the little ones. For those of us with 2 or 3 kids, this can really add up. But hey, they are only young once, right?

Here are the rest of the results:

  • $100-$200: 33%
  • $50-$100: 13%
  • Over $500: 7%
  • Less than $50: 0%

Only 7% of the SharpMoms are spending over $500. I wonder if anyone is spending over $80K, as discussed in the Pricey Parties. Do Kids Care? post earlier this month. I hope not!

Watch out for the new poll coming soon and please vote!
