The Best Color Swimsuit for You
June 22, 2006
A couple of weeks ago, I passed along some information on how to find the best swimsuit for your body type. As a follow-up, today, I saw this great article on how to select the best color swimsuit for your skin tone.
I keep saying I won’t buy another black swimsuit, but maybe I was onto something. According to the chart in the article, black is a “do” color for me. Check it out and go do some shopping!
Beachside Book Review #2
June 21, 2006
Just finished my second easy summer read, Are you Afraid of the Dark?, by another one of my very favorite authors, Sidney Sheldon.
If you are a Sidney Sheldon fan and you’ve read most of his books, this is an easy read and it’s entertaining (I read it in one day). But, if you have never read Sheldon before, please don’t make this your first. It does not do him justice as an author. He has some truly amazing work out there, i.e. Master of the Game, Windmills of the Gods, etc., and Are you Afraid of the Dark?, was not one of them.
Sorry Sidney. I love ya, but you made me wait a long time for a new release and I expected more!
Target Shoppers Beware
June 20, 2006
Let me start by saying that Target has been one of my favorite stores for many years. I have a great Super Target one mile from my home and I visit the store at least twice a week. I have even commented to friends on how it’s so easy to make returns at Target.
Yes, there are a few rules, but I know them and they are easy enough to deal with:
- Keep your receipts or pay with a credit card or check (they can look those purchases up in their system without the original receipt), AND
- Return within 90 days of purchase (not a problem for me, I’m pretty organized)
Since I shop at Target so much, it’s fair to say that I’ve done a good bit of returning at Target. I’ve always complied with the two rules above and my returns have never been questioned and are usually processed within 5 minutes or less.
