Stretch Marks Double Action by Mustela
Pregnancy is great, but the stretch marks? Not so much. Mustela’s Stretch Marks Double Action cream is designed to help you worry less about the havoc your burgeoning belly is wreaking on your bikini body and spend more time eagerly anticipating the arrival of your little one and thinking about the day you will pop back into that bikini and hit the poolside with your new arrival.
The Stretch Marks Double Action cream improves the appearance of existing stretch marks while preventing new ones, and it even helps alleviate some other unpleasant side effects that come along with carrying a new human inside you for nine months. The cream, which is thick and rich, contains three patented ingredients as well as a combination of moisturizers and softening oils. When these three ingredients (Mustela’s Elastoregulator®, Lupeol and Chlorophycea) combine with the other ingredients, the results is more resilient skin that manufactures high levels of collagen to keep the skin from tearing.
As a result, your skin can stretch without permanently adjusting to the new shape by breaking, which is what causes stretch marks. This cream also helps decrease sensitivity and the irritating “pulling” feeling that often occurs when your stomach begins to stretch and grow.
The Mustela cream should be used twice daily and massaged into your stomach and any other problem areas or potential problem areas. It is safe for use both during and after pregnancy, as well as if you have never been pregnant but still have problematic stretch marks.
This cream is incredible. Even old stretch marks lighten significantly over time with continued use, and if you feel like experimenting with them, then you will definitely see an improvement in the half that you treated with this cream rather than the half that you did not. The combination of softening oils, moisturizers and confidential compounds works to soften the skin of your belly and other areas on the body so that your skin actually becomes more pliable and resilient.
Unlike other stretch mark creams, this one does not make your skin feel tighter as it re-elasticizes it, but in fact makes you feel more comfortable in your expanding hide without necessitating the tears, breaks and fissures that it normally takes to make these major adjustments to your body. Even better, if you are already pregnant and have begun to develop stretch marks, it is not too late for you.
Women who start using the cream shortly after they notice their first stretch marks still are able to eliminate the existing marks and prevent the formation of more as long as they use the cream regularly for the next two to three months. In fact, the only real downside to this cream is that it takes several months for the results to show.
If you have existing stretch marks, you are going to have to have some patience and perseverance in order to get the results you want.
